William Anku Kraka Mawuli Andoh Wood Jr. better known by his stage name, (Merlyn Wood) is an American rapper and songwriter best known for being a member and rapper of the American boyband BROCKHAMPTON. He is also known for his solo singles such as "Flip Mo", "Lazy Wood", and "Culdesac" featuring BROCKHAMPTON member Dom McLennon.




Biography[edit | edit source]

William Anku Kraka Mawuli Andoh Wood Jr. was born in Accra, Ghana but moved to Houston, Texas after he was born. Before joining BROCKHAMPTON, William attended Woodlands High School with Kevin Abstract, JOBA, Matt Champion, and Ameer Vann as he later attended the University of Texas for two years where he performed badly in all of his classes. He revealed in an interview that if he passed all of his tests and assignments then he would have been able to pass but instead chose to drop out and join ALIVESINCEFOREVER after rebranding themselves as "BROCKHAMPTON" in 2015.
